The following is a product description of THHN cables:
THHN cable introduction
THHN (Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon-coated) cable is an American Standard UL listed thermoplastic high heat-resistant nylon sheathed wire and cable, which is widely used in power transmission, industrial equipment and construction. Its design combines excellent electrical performance and physical characteristics to adapt to complex working conditions.
Core Parameters
Rated voltage: 600V
Temperature range: Long-term operating temperature 90℃ (dry environment) or 75℃ (humid environment)
Conductor material: bare copper or tinned copper optional, in accordance with UL83 standard.
Sheath material: nylon (PVC insulation), with oil resistance, corrosion resistance, ultraviolet resistance characteristics
Bending radius: not less than 4 times the outer diameter of the cable.
Core Advantages
High heat resistance: low weight loss at high temperatures, able to withstand transient overloads.
Lightweight design: small external diameter and light weight, reducing the difficulty and cost of laying.
Environmental adaptability: Suitable for wet/dry locations, oil, ozone and UV resistant.
Long life: full life cycle maintenance support, reduce operation and maintenance costs.
Application Scenarios
Industrial: power transmission for machine tools, robots, wind power generation equipment.
Architecture: commercial buildings, residential lighting and power distribution systems.
Special scenarios: aerospace, mining equipment and petrochemical environments.
Certifications and Standards
UL certification: UL83, UL62 standard test, certification file number E313205
Environmental Compliance: RoHS compliant, halogen free materials.
Installation Requirements
Ambient temperature: not less than 0℃ when laying.
Laying method: can be buried, through the pipe or the use of cable tray, support the installation of bridge-free
