KVV control cable, fully known as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulated and sheathed control cable, is a copper-core PVC insulated and sheathed control cable, belonging to the category of fixed-laying power cables. Its implementation standards include GB/T 9330-2008, IEC60227, and IEC60502, and it is widely used in control and monitoring circuits and protection lines with an AC rated voltage of 450V/750V and below.
The conductor is typically a copper core, including oxygen-free copper, which is divided into two types: Class 1 single-strand and Class 2 7-strand stranded copper conductors. The insulation layer is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material with digital coding, and the sheath is also made of PVC, with plastic filling inside to enhance mechanical properties. The cable can be produced with a range of 2-61 cores, and common conductor cross-sections include 0.75mm², 1.0mm², 1.5mm², 2.5mm², etc. The long-term operating temperature should not exceed 70℃, and the laying ambient temperature needs to be higher than 0℃. For unarmored models, the minimum bending radius is 6 times the outer diameter of the cable, while for shielded or armored structures, it is 12 times. This cable is suitable for indoor, cable trench, pipeline, or direct burial environments in power plants, stations, and other places. Shielded cables are commonly used in complex electromagnetic environments due to their anti-interference performance.
